History: He was born into a rich family. Thorin was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Adventurer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
