She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her silver hair is thinning but still full. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tordrid does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Tordrid hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Tordrid was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Lucan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
