Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rathkran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
