History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Nelkin began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Nelkin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He's in love.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ulla isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ulla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she's looking for her big break
