History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Tomph liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
