Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and seeks redemption

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aura fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
