History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has worked as a Barrister like her mother before her.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Rael was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.
