Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed mace, just in case. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He has worked as a Shepherd like his father before him.

Description: This man prefers to wear flannel, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His tied-back hair is red. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Darrow took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe. He has a very tight haircut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats
