Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She married young, but lost her spouse to drow. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Vani was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.
