History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: River was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To be a Blacksmith again; and further expansion of business
