History: Henk lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Soapmaker. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Shamash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

Description: 5'10" and muscular, this western man wears a grey collared shirt and blue pants. He accessorizes with a black scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Recently the stress of being a Painter has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
