History: Gargax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This malnourished woman dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her red hair is thinning but still full. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older woman who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, she is not a threatening figure. Her gray fur is heavily combed to the left. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dagger embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. Dagger is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Gurdis's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants her found
