Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shadow's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Shadow was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: Corkitron hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Corkitron was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Corkitron's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.
