History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His first spouse was a Doctor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: This man wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are white and catlike.

Personality: Valafar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shepherd but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
