History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baelitae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
