When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
