History: Born in the south to a Cook, Mary learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mary grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mary. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born into a rich family. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Thea was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
