History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
