Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
