Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mardred took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Emerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
