Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Seven was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is greedy

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Melech learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and balancing his hectic life and new stableman responsibilities is difficult
