His first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Ralf Beverly, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'3" and wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his feathered brown hat.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Ralf and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ralf discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ralf fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

Therlin Rubyeye, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She is in excellent shape and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her greatsword with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Performer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
Ideals: Athletic, Justice, Optimist. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: In love. Occupation: Performer
Voice: Sighs a lot, exhausted
