History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her fur is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are yellow and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Stableman. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She got into the Stableman business at a young age. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Description: Standing 3'2", this woman is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Crown-heir. She has shaved her head bald. Her amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
