History: Rosalind was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Stylist and found it very stressful. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of orcs
