Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and white handkerchief worn on his right side. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her hair is white and very short. Her eyes are red and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by her family

Her yellow unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, River and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern
