History: She was born in a small mountains village. A gifted student she started as a Tailor, but she got bored and became a Barrister. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Valida's homeland. Valida decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
