History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Erdan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
