History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Tanner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tanner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: An older woman who wears a grey shirt with thin white vertical stripes and green pants, she is not a threatening figure. Her auburn hair is well kept. Her gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Emmeline hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he prefers to wear tan pants and tee shirts. His hair is long and brown with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and retire the richest man in the east
