She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Meriele liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
