He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe. He has a very tight haircut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's also a talented Bricklayer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-orc people

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with dancing. She constantly tries to fill her life with dancing. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Druid school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Chaedi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
