History: She was born in the north. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. After a long history of fighting, Beast and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. After coming to the age of reason, Paelias took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Drenna was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
