Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vani does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When Vani reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
