History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Eloise is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
