Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Vanchu was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jane. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
