History: Born in the west to a Tailor, Ulblyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now owns her own business.
