Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a brown top hat and brown clothes. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Gerard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of a Slave Trader, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Fabien hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Fabien was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
