History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by drow. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
