History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Therlin will drive conversation. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and further expansion of business
