History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joan grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born in a small island village. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. Being a Slave Trader kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
