Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Beggar, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Volen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: Carrie speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his brother
