History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she desires power and/or immortality

He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Sindri was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
