Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Orthog was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Orthog's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sapply embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Shava hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and someone believes her a fraud
