History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marbas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marbas. After months of barely getting by, Marbas managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her childhood dream was to be a Map Maker, but she was a colossal failure. She has never given up on her writing dream.
