His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Her hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small white clips. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Ploughman. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Ploughman. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
