History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Through the years after Oda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Kite was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student she started as a Body Guard, but she got bored and became a Sage. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.
