History: Born in the west to a Detective, Rurik learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When Rurik reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Adventurer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Helen was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
