He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bather and was forced into it by his family.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
