History: Mâku was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Sarah enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A gifted student she started as a Spice Merchant, but she got bored and became a Knight. She became a Knight soon after.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Being a Slave Trader kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and she wants revenge against giants
