Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and revenge
