Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. Oblar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Oblar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
